I have only recently watched the film Equilibrium; it came out about 10 years ago but it seems so recent because of the modern and futuristic settings. Not only I fell in love with Christian Bale and Taye diggs (they exude some extreme hotness! erm.) but mostly with the directors' vision and eye for details. The cinematographic techniques used throughout the film are consistent and effective which makes every scene so captivating. The costume designer did a fantastic job too; the guards remembered me of Jil Sander A/W 12-13 menswear line and the population uniforms were reminiscent of the People’s Republic of China through the Mao era when they had to recast into a proletarian society.

This film is a real pleasure to the eye.

This agency have some pretty impressive visuals when it comes to communication&typography.

They have re-defined the branding identity of Bauhaus Dessau without loosing its originality and ideologies. It might seem pretty basic but there is a lot research and philosophy behind the use and placement of the font.

Haider Ackermann | Spring Summer 2013

I'm a fan of androgynous looks and the work of Ackermann. I am slowly building my wardrobe with similar pieces towards a long and lean silhouettes. My favourite looks are the masculine sculptural jackets with contrasting lapels revealing a tuxedo finish, accessorised with embossed leather belts and worn with cigarette pants or tailored wide leg trousers. The use of delicate chiffon, lace and patterned fabrics brought richness and texture to this collection.

Last week Beatrice model agency sent us new face David Valensi from London; not only does he model but he is also a music producer and song writer. Very charismatic and expressive; it is just a matter of time until we see him everywhere.
