How much do we hate pigeon!? The first thoughts that come into our mind are: flying rats, dirty and diseased. This elderly woman isn’t like any others... she adores them, and feed them. She also unties threads which are tangled between their feet, which cuts their circulation and make their feet fall apart. I took the opportunity to take close ups of the work she was doing. I find amazing how comfortable she felt around all these pigeons; I was scared myself as they were flying everywhere. She tried to catch as many as she could and also taught me everything that there is to know about pigeons, amazing! It made me feel more compassionate about them and dissolved this feeling of hatred and disgust I had.
