I'm slightly concerned about this necklace. When I showed this image to a friend of mine he said that it looked like a "slave neck chain"; and it actually does, but I never realised it. I am concerned that wearing it would be seen as a mockery and maybe degrade my values... or should I wear it with pride as a symbolism of remembrance of my ancestors?
I know that "fashion is just fashion" but issues like this perturb my mind...

Wear it and you will soon find out where most people stand on this issue, personally I think its pushs the buttons to a very sensitive issue but then again where would fashion be without it being challenged?
