Rick Owens | Spring Summer 2014 Womenswear | Vicious
I am not a big fan of Rick Owens, but after watching his SS14 Womenswear show my perspective about his fashion aesthetic changed. I was left 'bouche bée' by the cast of synchronised black women, which came in all shapes and sizes, stepping it up on the catwalk in such an aggressive but powerful way of communicating their African-American pride and tradition to the Paris fashion crowd. I was amazed by how they kept their 'stank' face on from start to finish; such a great energy (have you noticed all the pompoms falling off the dress), not to mention that the folds of each garments enveloped the dancers gracefully which enabled them to move freely. What a great show and celebration of Black history.

Franco Lo Presti | Independent Men Milano
Source: my own | photography by Domenico Petralia
Franco was sent from the Gods and blessed with luscious hair, beautiful facial structure and an attractive personalty; to cut it short he has all the right attributes. However he does come across has a "Gandy" type of model and sometimes models with softer features are more versatile; in spite of that he still has great potential.

JAY Z | Picasso Baby | A performance Art Film
This event happened a while ago but I thought what a refreshing way to experience Hip Hop music in a serene yet enclosed environment with an association of people you wouldn't put together. An intimidating performance, with a real interaction is what brought the magic to this experience and connected people together. Not really related to fashion but the artistry behind this concept is somewhat innovative.
