I have only recently watched the film Equilibrium; it came out about 10 years ago but it seems so recent because of the modern and futuristic settings. Not only I fell in love with Christian Bale and Taye diggs (they exude some extreme hotness! erm.) but mostly with the directors' vision and eye for details. The cinematographic techniques used throughout the film are consistent and effective which makes every scene so captivating. The costume designer did a fantastic job too; the guards remembered me of Jil Sander A/W 12-13 menswear line and the population uniforms were reminiscent of the People’s Republic of China through the Mao era when they had to recast into a proletarian society.

This film is a real pleasure to the eye.
